LJ Hooker Celebrates Achievements and Welcomes New Faces

LJ Hooker Solutions Gold Coast at Nerang have celebrated their achievements for the 2023/2024 financial year with their annual awards breakfast, held at the View Café, Hinze Dam.

The awards included Salesperson Of The Year, Property Manager Of The Year and the highly anticipated Employee Of The Year.

Principal Shane Colquhoun congratulated the team, saying

“Recognising our staff’s exceptional dedication and performance at these awards is one of the highlights of the year. It’s a great to see the whole team come together and celebrate each other’s successes.”

Some of the highlights that were mentioned included the office’s recent REB and REIQ wins, RateMyAgent results as well as personal milestones for team members.

Shane also officially welcomed the staff who had joined the office over the past 12 months.

Office Manager Rebecca Barnes was named Employee Of The Year for the second consecutive time after what has been a mammoth year. This award is voted by all employees on a point allocation basis.

Property Manager Of The Year was awarded to Jenna Peacock, who has been with LJ Hooker Nerang for 10 years. This award was also voted for by the team and weighted 50/50 between the property management department and rest of office.

For the 11th year in a row, Team Doogan took out Salesperson Of The Year. The team of Jane Doogan, Dean McMurtrie and Mel McKay proved to be unstoppable once again.

This award is based on sales and listings results, verified from LJ Hooker head office.

Michael Folkard was named as runner up.
