LJ Hooker Nerang team named in top poll
For the sixth year running, the country's very best sales offices competed once again for the top honours in this year's Top 50 Sales Offices ranking, focusing particularly on volume and performance efficiency.
LJ Hooker Nerang has again cemented its position in the real estate industry’s pre-eminent rankings, this year being named the 23rd best performing sales agency in Australia by REB (Real Estate Business Online).
The New Street agency recorded a 92 per cent success rate from its listings over the past 12 months (418 listings for 383 sales) and was only one of two Gold Coast-based real estate businesses to make the list.
LJ Hooker Nerang sold a combined $193 million worth of property over the period.
The list ranks real estate sales offices across Australia according to a range of metrics, including efficiency, conversion ratios, number of sales and sales volume.
LJ Hooker Nerang Principal Shane Colquhoun said while the ranking underpinned the professionalism of the team, it also highlighted the increased confidence in Nerang and the Gold Coast Hinterland.
CoreLogic Data showed houses in Nerang had risen 9.4 per cent in the 12 months to January (to $465,000) whilst units rose 4.8 per cent ($325,000).
Shane said: “The cash rate remained unchanged over 2017 and that encouraged both owner-occupants and investors to compete in the marketplace, placing pressure on property prices.
“That sentiment has carried on into 2018 and we’re expecting the Commonwealth Games to really propel interest in the property sector throughout the entire year.”
Shane said LJ Hooker Nerang’s $5 million relocation last year had also influenced the results for the team, enhancing the customer experience and ability to provide sellers and investors with a new level of service.”
It is gearing up to be a massive awards season for the office, with nominations from the REIQ, Rate My Agent and REA Group over different catagories.
