LJ Hooker Solutions Gold Coast have taken out two major awards at one of the most prestigious events on the real estate calendar. The LJ Hooker Solutions Gold Coast team had a record number of finalists, with a total of 6 nominations.
The 12th annual REB Awards 2024 was held on Thursday (29 February) at The Star, Sydney, with over 650 members of the real estate industry in attendance.
LJ Hooker Nerang was recognised with a back-to-back win for Sales Office Of The Year – Regional. This is the fourth time that the team have been recognised; with prior wins in 2018, 2021 and 2023.
The win was a boon for the office who also had back to back wins at the recent REIQ awards.
Managing Director and Principal of LJ Hooker Nerang, Shane Colquhoun was named as Principal Of The Year – Regional. This is the third time that Shane has taken home this coveted award. He previously won in 2017 and 2021.
Mr Colquhoun said that he was incredibly proud of the achievements of the team.

A total of 34 winners walked away with trophies at this year’s awards, including leaders, innovators, sales agents and offices, property managers, auctioneers, principals, networks and buyer’s agents, as well as training and education providers and the rising stars of tomorrow.
They were selected out of a pool of 297 finalists and a record 664 submissions (the highest received by REB since the inception of the award program).
